Feelings

This story makes me feel sad because they are immigrants and theres a lot more of them going through a rough life like all the other immigrants. That is why they are going to America, because of their harsh life's.

I also agree with Shawn because they do go through rough times in their life and so do we. We need help in those times and usually we get them but, immigrants don't that is why we should help them because, we know what they are going through.

I could predict that Mario Lucci won't like how Americans act compared to Italians. He might get so tired of how they act he might just go back to Italy.


I predict that Mario Lucci will love America because he had never had this much freedom in Italy. That is my theory of what Mario Lucci will do in the future.

Main Idea

The author of this short story is trying to tell us that if you are board with where you are or just plain out board of everything, then you should take a trip. A trip is a great way to meet people, learn, and to have FUN! A lot of people use trips to get their mind off everything or to forget about everything, the point of a trip is to have fun and discover something new, so get out of the house and take a Trip to take your mind off everything.

I can compare Mario Lucci to a kid i know, that is a immigrant too. His name is Jose and they are very similar to each other. They came to America seeking somewhere new to live. They also came to America to start a new life with their parents.

I can compare Mario Lucci to one of my cousins because, they are alike in many ways. Such as, they both are illegal immigrants, they both also came to America for the same reason. I just think that if they were to meet each other than they would be great friends.
